Well howdy doody. How are you? Are you fine and dandy? The weather finally broke here. On the Isle of Wight it did anyway. Phew. Honestly, I know a lot of people love the sunshine and heat, and it does make things like laundry a lot easier, but I’m so relieved it’s cooled down. Another heatwave is coming. Woohoo, he says with absolutely no enthusiasm. I’m a writer. I like rain, and moody grey skies, and cold weather so I can wear my boots and heavy wax jacket, instead of dressing like I’m on hols on the Costa del Sol. Is that still a place?
