If you are thinking of writing an Undead Presents book, read this:

We are getting some amazing submissions sent in with books we’d love to take forward and publish, but we’re having to reject quite a lot of them for not sticking to the timeline.
Think of like it this:
A reader goes through the main series, all 33 books as it stands at the moment, but they want more. They see The Undead Presents which offers stories within that same world. But what they read re-constructs the timeline of events, or the evolution of the infection or other storylines, and it becomes jarring to them and diminishes the experience. Which then risks that reader being turned off the writing, not because of the quality, but because it’s not tied in enough.
We can’t risk other Undead books becoming more like generic zombie stories loosely tied to the main series.
We’ve produced a super detailed timeline of events which can be downloaded for free HERE.
We do get the temptation to have creative freedom – which we’d always support, but not when it is within a pre-defined world.
The Undead lore is the other issue we’re seeing. Some of the stories are changing how the virus spreads and slowing it down to match their storylines or increasing the evolution of the infection to bring in Super Baddies or CPs early on.
Again, we totally get that temptation – but the stories must stay within the defined evolution of the main series.
One other strong nugget of advice we’d give is to avoid trying to stray into, or re-write the main storyline of where the virus comes from, or how the CPs operate, or to try and re-invent how the CP’s function.
And lastly! Be prepared for editing! We say this because it can seem super picky and horrible when you get the MS back with Track Changes on and it’s full of comments. The edits are only ever designed to enhance and get the most from the story – never to pick anyone apart.
Oh, and double lastly – we’ve changed our model from offering royalties, to now using a FIXED FEE if we take the stories forward for publishing. We have to buy the story from you and own it fully as our copyright. (We had legal advice to do it this way due. It’s the norm for licenced fiction.)
Anywho. That’s it. We’re getting some beautiful stories through. Stick to the timeline and lore and send them in. We’d love to put them out and help launch your name as a writer with a presence on Amazon.
Much love!

Great post — your breakdown of the topic is really solid. I found the discussion on strategy and execution particularly insightful, and it reminded me how vital it is to have someone you trust when you WriteMyAssignment for urgent online help in order to free up time and stay focused on the bigger picture.

What a great piece about writing in a shared universe and maintaining narrative consistency! As Professional CV Ireland, I value the focus on accuracy and lucidity, which are values we also apply to each medical CV and resume that we create. I appreciate you reminding me that, whether you're writing fiction or your professional story, details count.
The beauty of Morocco lies in its contrasts: timeless traditions alongside modern touches, wild nature next to sophisticated riads. To appreciate this fully, the journey needs to be designed with precision and care. Relying on Suntrails Morocco luxury tours is one way to achieve this, since it focuses on combining authenticity with refined details. Instead of following a standard route, the trip becomes a tailored adventure that highlights the very best of the country while respecting the traveler’s own rhythm.
Hi Boss, sorry to bother you, but I’m getting my head into gear with ideas, and I’ve thought of a device with which to place my characters on the Undead timeline. Where I pop you a private message to run it past you to see if it’s allowed? I don’t want to start writing for it to be wrong!
Best wishes, Tania x
